Help needed to ID this old archtop

    I've been asked by an old friend to help get this functional again. Was told if was at least 50 years old. It's a family guitar they want working again.

    I was hoping for an ID from the experts here.

    Is there a label or anything written inside? A better picture of the headstock might help. Framus seems likely from what I can see.

    No labels anywhere. The lines and triangles look like framus motifs. I've not seen same design anywhere yet though.

    Pickguard shape, fretboard MOTS inlays, zero fret...
    ...makes me think about Höfner

    Almost like a pre-war Gretsch, but block inlay too far gone.

    Yes, that looks like a late fifties product from Germany. Apart from the usual Framus, Höfner and Hopf, there were many smaller builders producing these kind of guitars into the Sixties. Usually no trussrod and not much in the way of fretboard radius or relief.
