    Hello, Tele friends.
Having played Strats for the last 15 years, I bought a Squier Standard Tele over the summer. I recently bought a jazzmaster but the Tele has been the favorite of my electrics ever since I got it. Currently plotting a possible MIM Tele purchase. Thinking LPB or even black - I like those with an aged pickguard.
I play it through one of those new mustang amps. I have the smallest one and it is plenty loud for what I do; between my guitars and that amp, I can pull up pretty much any tone I want.
Looking forward to some Tele talk!

    Welcome to the TDPRI!

Nice stuff you've got there. Tell us a bit about your acoustic: brand & specs if you know.

    Enjoy!

It is a mid-late 60's Ventura Bruno V-14 (Dreadnought). My dad bought it when he was 14, so if it were made the year he bought it the guitar was made in '68. He gave it I me when I was in high school (first guitar).

Bout time you got here! I'm in Jersey Village, what part of Houston are you in?

There will be a Houston TDPRI gathering early next year. I'm working on details now with a local club. Should be great fun.

    take care...
