In Denver? Or Golden?
That's 176 South Broadway in Denver...thanks!
So Ed, FenderFan, did y'all get a chance to meet?
Hey, Larry, my friends in Denver know Gary Lee's MC but just didn't feel like goin out on Saturday night. We hadn't seen each other in almost two years, so we decided to stay home, visit, and play guitars. It was what we needed even though I wish we could have met FenderFan and heard his Surf Band.
Oh, that's cool. I was just curious. Reconnecting with friends is important, of course, and besides...guitars were played in the process, so it's all good!
The event at Gary Lee's was a smashing success. Hundreds turned out, which made it great fun for the band. Maybe we'll see you on a future visit to Colorado, Ed - I'll keep posting our gig dates.
A photo from that day:
Okay, it’s officially Christmas Eve now (in my time zone, anyway), so I’m taking this opportunity to wish all of you Harmony owners a Merry Christmas!

Just acquired an Early 80's Japanese Harmony H80T/SB S-Type. Rescued from a Music Go Round for $19.98! New Guitar Fetish Tuners, String Guides, Input Jack, and Tremolo.
Nice and worthy rescue project you got there, NEPATelecaster.
Any more mods planned?
It's amazing how many Japanese Harmonys are out there.
I don't plan on any mods, just in need a great set up. I've been tweaking it as much as I can so far.
i've owned a ton of Harmony guitars, mostly Rockets, but this one has been around the longest. I think it's a '62.
Now this is your album cover, Fenderfan!
Good album cover idea, Ed..."Live in Denver"!
Picked this ol beaut up the other day. 1961 Silvertone (Harmony) 1421. It's going to need a bit of tlc, (clean the electronics, replace tuner(s), et cet.) but the neck is straight, action excellent and the electronics work....although the pots and switch are in dire need of cleaning and the jack may need a look see.
It snowed something fierce here. I went to get something from my truck, slipped a bit and my left palm hit a tie down deal on the trucks rack. Man, it sliced it pretty deep. I play my guitars every day, so, it's going to be hard not to pick one up. At least I can concentrate on getting this and a few other projects taken care of.
Here she is.....what do you think? Any tips on cleaning the electronics?
Wow, BB. Nice one! I'm sure any good tech (not the teenager at Guitar Center) can take care of the electronics inexpensively for ya . I had similar issues with my '60 Stratotone Jupiter. But I have no tech skills and couldn't advise you on DIY.
Thanks EDP. Have yet to dig into it, but looking forward to it. I'll just do the Caig Detox cleaner and see how it goes from there.
I think this ol beaut is going to sound real good. Been invited to sit in with a blues band next week, so I'm hoping to take this along.
Cool. Let us know how it goes. Pix from the gig, maybe?
You'll love that guitar!
A little spray sort sort those controls. They're good quality, probably just need cleaned.
I has one in black, and have regretted selling it from the moment it left the house.
