"Ned Callan" was actually Peter Cook. He was a great builder and did a very good refinish back in the '70s of my first Hayman 3030H after it had been damaged in a pub incident. His shop in Hanwell, later run by Trevor Newman, was well-known and successful, but it finally closed a couple of years ago. Sadly I believe he is no longer with us.
