I'm more concerned about the wrap around bridge in the Kravitz pic than I am the single pickup.

The gold-top is simlar to a LP Standard- trapezoid inlays, bound neck(can't see headstock), single-bound body, tune-a-matic bridge and stop tailpiece.

The one Lenny is holding/playing is a LP Custom- block inlays, bound neck and headstock, double bound body and the classic LP Custom inlayed face of headstock. The wraparound bridge is similar to the old "Black Beauty" LP Custom's of the mid 50's.

See what you did, got me all GAS-ing for a freaking gibson.

Maybe this P-90 Agile might keep the GAS at bay?

And Lisa Bonet's babydaddy. Pretty impressive resume for a guy nobody seems to know :)

Cool guitar....too bad Lenny hasn't made any music worth listening to in over 15 years...

The GC had one here in the used section once; sometime within the last year.. It was like $6k, or some ridiculous price...

Lenny played the only 2 songs anyone ever really heard of...all he needed was to throw "Fly Away" in the set and bam....thats it.

He was quite popular in the 90's though.....just kinda fell off the earth.

I think it's more like he fell TO earth, IIRC he owns a small island w/a bungalow and a small studio where he pretty much hangs out, and lives the life he lives.

As for the guitar, I had one of the one hum, one knob melody makers for a bit, a fun guitar, but yes it can be a bit limiting, still by changing picking hand location, you can get some different sounds.

I had heard his name. Just hadn't listened to any of his music. Read yesterday where he is going to play Marvin Gaye in a movie. I also looked up the gold top shown. Nearly $4800. I think that cured my GAS for now.
