Where is your [main] guitar made?

USA? Mexico? Japan? Germany? Korea? Canada?

My #1, a 2003 Gretsch Chet was made in Japan.
It’s the best sounding electric guitar I have ever owned.

    Just passing thru
Body made in Mexico, neck made in Japan, US-made pickups (I think), not sure about the hardware.

USA, Japan, China, and Taiwan (I think).

It's a Partscaster with an Alder Affinity body, Allparts FAT neck, Keystone Pickups, Wilkinson Bridge, Gotoh Tuners and various USA and China made bits.

But with the Keystones and that Allparts FAT neck, it just sings. Almost sounds piano like.

Mine are all hand-made on Earth using tools, some of which are powered and computer controlled. None are naturally authentic, being Man-made. I only buy models that make home-made music.

I'm gonna opt for Earth as well since I have several multi-national models.

I haven't got a "main" guitar yet - still learning and trying out various guitars. At the moment, my:

    1. Tele is MIJ
    2. Strat is AVRI
    3. ES349 is USA

Personally, I couldn't care less where they're made as, for me, it's only about whether I can enjoy playing them and like the noise I can get from them.

I have a fairly multi-cultural collection. Nr 1 is probably my CV Strat so China.
Then there's the Maton - Australia
    P bass ( '57 RI )- USA
Affinity Tele ( beautiful guitar ) - China
    Yamaha Silent Guitar - China
Squier Bullet Strat - China ( seeing a bit of a trend here )
Yamaha RBX bass ( great bass ) - Taiwan
Ibanez Andorra classical guitar - Taiwan

Looking at that list its not very multicultural at all!

Like many others here, I don't have a main guitar.
I love them all, and I tend to pack different ones to gigs on the whimsy of the day.

That said, of the ones that get played the most,

~ JBP acoustic was made in Korea

~ Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus, made in China

~ Fender Stratocaster, made in Corona, California

~ Two Gibson Les Pauls were made in Nashville, Tennessee

There are a dozen more, and they come from all over the globe, it would seem.

My #1 electric is my Mexican telecaster, my #1 acoustic is Italian. I'm unsure where my other guitars even come from - I imagine China or Indonesia.

The large majority of my guitars are MIJ, including my no1 (Ibanez), a Greco Jazzbox, and all my home brews. My dreadnaught is a Takamine, and my classical is a MIJ Aria. Even my one MIC guitar is a Yamaha...
