Can't say enough about this https://www.guitarcenter.com/Gibson/Les-Paul-Classic-Satin-Limited-Edition-Electric-Guitar.gc especially at the sale price during Guitar a thong.

2 things in the description that stand out as incorrect, it comes with a Gibson Hardshell case and it's a Nashville Bridge, not an ABR-1. Fantastic Les Paul, especially for $1,600.00 I have made a few changes to mine, but just personal preference things as is, out of the box, it's a fine guitar.

If that doesn't float your boat, the Purple Road Worn tele is $100 off.

Feel free to post any GAT deals that you think are worth checking out.

I would almost consider trading my flame top standard for the iced tea burst.

The closest GC is about 1,000 miles away or I’d consider that
    Very nice looking LP

I am not in the market for a LP type, but that is a good deal. I checked around a bit, and saw this below for $1199, with P90s. Wowsa...

I'm done buying stuff (for a while) but the Guitarathon book that they just sent blew my mind. I thought it was one of the most impressive GC catalogs that I've seen.

I thought this was the mega-deal...….

    https://www.guitarcenter.com/Gibson/Les-Paul-Special-P-90-Limited-Edition-Electric-Guitar.gc

P90 or humbucker LP Special (so it's full gloss) for $799. I have the Special that's featured in the link that I posted. I paid $1000 7 years ago.

USA - I don't think that it can get any better for $799.

At $799, that is a very good deal, indeed. I talked about it with Mrs. Artunes last night, and it looks like I'll have one of these by the end of the weekend. @studio1087, when does the sale end?

    Bound fretboard too--love it!

Meanwhile Mexican Fenders often cost more. WEAK.

NGD. This guitar is a naughty little thing. It sings, it screams, and the sustain is amazing. This is my first P-90 guitar ever and it is like nothing else that I've owned. I can't put it down. Mrs. Artunes, who doesn't have the keenest ear for tone, says that it sounds amazing. It is truly a rock and roll machine.

We drove to Guitar Center on Saturday around noon. There were only a few customers in the store. I found the Les Paul Special hanging on the wall, and asked to play it. The price tag hadn't been changed to reflect the sale price, but the young gentleman confirmed that the price was $799.99. I took the guitar and plugged into a Fender Blues Junior, and was blown away by the sound of those pickups. I noticed that there was some static electricity sound through the amp when I touched any metal components of the guitar, so I pointed that out to the salesman even though I knew that it was an easy fix. I asked him if they had another one in stock, and he told me that they only had the display model in stock. The guitar looked as if it had never been played. No scratches, no fret wear, just very clean. The neck felt great. There was no fret sprout at all. I asked him if they could give me a discount because of the grounding issue and because it was the display model. After checking with the manager, he told me that they could take $50 off of the sale price. Done. Brand new Gibson Les Paul Special with P-90s for $750. I am a happy SOB. Pics or it didn't happen...the first pic is the one included with the guitar taken at the Gibson factory, and the second taken in my music room. Now I have to sign off so I can play the guitar.

P.S. After comparing the two photos, I don't think they are of the same guitar. LOL. No matter. The one I got is beautiful.

Is that paint or can you see the grain ?

I’d kill for a light one with a decently wide neck.

You can see the woodgrain - it's really nice. It's just a mediocre iPhone pic in bad light.

If I didn't already have a half dozen P90 loaded guitars, this would be hard to pass up.
    But, I'm good.

Thanks for the heads up. A good deal indeed. Think I'll stop by my local GC and try one.

Just bought a used Fender Tele in sunburst. I'll post pics of it ASAP. I was torn between getting it or getting a Vox AC15C2 but the Tele won out in the end.
