I hate holepunches! Some people in my office punch holes in every handout and the dang chads get everywhere.

"COLD" "STERILE" "HEAVY METAL" EMG PICKUPS!!!

I always thought that was funny. Anything that is not traditional is "cold" and "sterile". They're some of the best sounding pickups out there, clean, distorted, and all points in between.

Metal buttons on top of the pickup reduce the high end response a bit, depending on the thickness and conductivity of the metal punch-outs. I'm sure nobody cares, but I just wanted to point out that it's not a purely aesthetic outcome.

Aluminuminmum would be even worse! What you want to do is go to Jo Ann's, purchase a silver paint marker, and draw circles on the top of the pickup. They're just EMG's, might as well give it a shot.

There's a market for that, just call them "EMG Tone Boosters."

Uh, middy and Edsel, I didn't title my post "Got to Keep the Haters on Their Toes." That's not "sharing" by any stretch of the imagination. I think my response was exactly on point, given the passive-aggressive nature of the OP. You don't need to agree with me. It's OK to be wrong.
