I have been lucky enough to spend time in a Stores "Private Collection Room" over the last few months.
The guitars and amps in there are UN-BELIEVE-ABLE.

Today I spent a few hours playing an early 60'S P90 Coronet similar to this one in the pic.
I gotta tell ya... It Was SWEEEEEEEET!
The P90 was just KILLER thru some of the Vintage Amps I was playing it thru ... What A Rush !!!!

I bet that was cool, my first electric was a SG Jr with a single P90, so that Epiphone probably sounded a lot like that.
I always liked those old USA made Epiphones, when I was first learning to play a store here had a used Wilshire with 2 mini humbuckers that I wanted really bad but I couldn't come up with the money, I think they wanted $250, wish I had gotten it and kept it.
Those guitars have gotten way expensive for some reason.

Those are cool. They used to be really cheap, but you know how that goes.

I own a '66 Epiphone Riviera with mini-buckers. It was my #1 for years. It's never going away.

I like the earlier, pre "bat wing" Epiphones, like this one.

I bought one of those (with the batwing headstock, chrome P-90 cover and and a Vibrola) for $75 when I was 16. I had it until 1989, when I traded it away for...something, forget what.

I've been toying with the idea if buying another one, but most of the ones I see are pretty pricey now - saw on on the 'verb for $3500! That's crazy. Great little guitar, though.

I have a similar one similar to the OP,s t’s white with two mini humbuckers.
I bought it for peanuts about 25 years ago because it has a huge gouge in the upper bout that took about a 1/4 inch of wood out of the body.
It also has a very thick finish on it similar to Fullerplast, I think that’s what it’s called. Fender used it.
I thought I’d someday fix the damage, but it has remained in my to do pile for a long time.
There was not that much interest in these Epi,s until about 5-6 years ago they became popular.

I used to have a Dwight like that in Silver Fox. Rare guitar and very awesome.

Del Shannon played these a lot.

True story...In 1978 in Boulder Co. I traded a bottom of the line Yamaha acoustic for a Coronet exactly like that one. Across the board, no money exchanged. I had put Grover’s on the Yamaha and that’s what clinched the deal. My buddy had given me a cheap little Supro accordion amp and the two sounded extraordinary together. I had a 2 baby’s and no pot to piss in so they were sold at some point. I’ve thought about getting one recently but the prices are so high I gave up the search. Great guitars,

Nothing in the Private Collection Room is for sale.

You wouldn't believe what they have. Late 50'S and early 60's Strats and Tele's.
Early Les Pauls and SG's and Firebirds (Matched sets = Guitar and Bass)
Mosrites... Gretschs and Ric's ... Mind Blowing. I can't even describe the Vintage Amps ... my heart races when I'm in there!:D

They have few of these types of Mosrites.
(Double Neck and 12 String / Guitar and Mando / Guitar Regular Neck and Short Neck)
Its a TRIP to actually hold something that Semie Moseley made by hand.
