This is my band playing a bluesy Bugs Henderson song called "Good Stuff"

Ignore the drunk girl on stage for the first few seconds (this was a very laid back gig and she was part of the bar staff) ;)

And forgive my somewhat lengthy wanking in the solo. :D It was the last song of the night and I wanted to cut loose a little bit.

    Cheers,
    Doug

I think you should cut looser and more often!

Ha, I'll let my band mates know!

They're actually pretty supportive. I have about a half dozen or so songs where they give me all the leeway I want, although I try not to go too long. On everything else, it's usually just short and sweet to support the tune.

    Cheers,
    Doug

It's cool to cut loose once in awhile. Nice!

    Thanks!

I've been playing with the drummer for over 20 years. We call the bass player the "new guy" cuz he's only been with us for 15 years!

So yeah, we have a pretty good chemistry. We're semi-retired as a band. Maybe 8-10 gigs a year. We have a couple that we've been doing for a long time (BBQ cookoff for 15 years, New Years Eve for 12) and then we just pick up stuff when people ask us. We don't do much active searching for gigs. But we get together once or twice a month just to drink beer and mess around (oops, I mean "rehearse"!)

    Cheers,
    Doug
