How hard can it be?
Gotta reuse a couple of these
Run it through the joiner.
Joint looks good.
I think the hard part is over.
I do too.....yikes...lots of templates.... I think I would make a dedicated neck tenon cavity template that is wider and more solid so there isn't any flex.
I think you'll find it is harder than a tele though....
Looking forward to this. How was the Lollar winding class? Did you draw up your own plans, really well done.
What an amazing preparative work, it looks like very intricate to me as newbie in guitar conception but very impressive though
Where'd you get the drawings from. This should be a great project
Very nice preparation. Love the gold top, is this going to be vintage specs (besides the chambering)?
Ah........... hypothetical eh? Looks pretty firm to me . Have fun my friend
Well done, James! That amount of prep work is bound to pay off big time!
Wow James , lots and lots of templates , your preparation and attention to detail is going to yeild a beautiful LP
What material are you using for your templates?
Sweet set of templates! Nice work.
Can't wait to see the finished product.
I'm using this as my dedicated neck tenon template, although it may be tough to use on an angle, this one may get revisited.
And you are correct it's slightly harder than a tele .
tell me you are a crafts professsional, otherwise i am getting depressive over my own
seriously james, those are the neatest templates i have seen in a very long time...and yes, what is the yellowish material you are using ?
looking forward to the build ! b.
Most of those drawings and plans are in the Les Paul files here:
