Glendale Steel vs Vintage Brass Saddles

    hi everybody. i just changed back from glendale steel to original vintage brass saddles and find the sustain to be a bit more even and longer. the attack doesn´t have the grind, though. just my humble opinion.

    I have the Glendale two brass and one aluminum set in mine ala Redd Volkaert and I really like them, warm grind with tons of twang....

    I have the Glendale Outlaw set, two brass and a hardened steel E/A. I don't know about "warm grind", but the sound is pretty uniform across all six strings.

    I got them used for a good price. I have no idea what three brass would sound like.
