Tru oil walnut, shellaced top
Nice work! Gonna tell us how you did it?
BC filler/sealer on the walnut. 4 times to 800gr, between coats.
Tru oil 6 times to 800gr, between coats.
Top is shellac, Zinsser clear from the can cut 50/50 for 6 coats, then 3-1 (thinner) for 6 coats.
Preval sprayed, leveled between coats as well. (always ended up with a little orange peel texture I didn't like)
I spent twice as much time on the bare wood, there I think, is where any decent finish is created.
I still will final buff with powder and Rott. In a few weeks, maybe. Patience is running thin, need to get the business end started
