So, who's got GAS for a new Fuzz pedal?
Some of my faves from my stable include an Expandora clone, a Wooly Mammoth clone, the Zoom Ultra Fuzz, 4ms Noise Swash, and the ultra cheap and ultra AWESOME mini Dano French Toast
I've got a Behringer Super Fuzz, an Ibanez "tone-loc" series FZ7, and a couple Devi Ever fuzzes, too
I think I'm covered!
I cured mine last week! I dug out a Greer Claymore that I had stashed away after I removed it from the board to make room for a Speaker Cranker.
I had forgotten how fuzzy the Claymore can be!
I'm actually pretty well covered in the fuzz department...
Little Big Muff
Visual Sound Angry Fuzz
Not using either at the moment though.
Me for 1. Have a boss fz5 thats not quite doing it for me
I did have it. Got a Nano Big Muff Pi a couple of weeks ago.
I recently bought a couple of fuzzes to try out, figuring I'd sell off the ones that didn't make the cut.
Naturally, I still have them all. My favorite of the bunch is the cheapest- a $30 Chinese Woolly Mammoth clone that I changed the input cap on, though.
No GAS for a new fuzz, although I would like to have a bias knob added to my FZ-1 clone. Also, if it won't take way from the tone, a 9v power adapter would also be a nice addition.
Yep, I've got the "Mammoth Wooly" too, it's really, really good
Been lookin at that jimi mini fuzz face
One of each please.
I recently picked up a Caroline Guitar Company Shigeharu (their new version) - it's quite possibly the most enormous sounding pedal I've ever heard, and I can't imagine GAS'ing for more fuzz for a while. It's massive.
I always do, but I've been holding off. Might get a kit & try to build some one of these days, but I really need to work on my house instead.
It took me a long time to crawl out of that particular bottomless pit.
I don't want to go back there again--not unless I have to, that is.
This thread is making me want to put my Little Big Muff back on the board!
I'm happy with my Black Arts Ritual fuzz. The problem is now they make one called the Destroyer which is a Ritual plus another fuzz in one box. It's only a matter of time before I break down and buy it.
I'm good for now. Fuzz Factory, Fulltone '69, and Effector13 (Devi Ever) Torn's Peaker. I love playing around with the Fuzz Factory. And the '69 in incapable of bad sounds. The Torn's Peaker isn't on my board right now, but it's a good ragged silicon fuzz.
Really want sort of tonebender right now. Ive never had one but starting to play a lot of zeppelin stuff with my les paul and marshall and I have no idea where to start. Been thinking about the throbak stonebender or analogman bender clone but the sheer amount of options with this pedal makes it hard for me. Made finding the perfect fuzzface easy I suppose.
any fuzz is gold in the hands of a master. everything depends on what you do with it.
got fuzz? link proves a that too much fuzz is not a problem. get any crap fuzz and go to town and have a blast!!
Paying big bucks for (gloriously) crap tone makes no damn sense
