Was shopping last Saturday at the store and saw an old friend, the good part was he did not see me.I left the store while he was checking out and found his car and wrote this short note and left it on the windshield. He is a fanatic about his car.I pulled over to the edge of the parking lot and waited for him to come out.Lets just say he was not a happy camper.I let him walk around the car a few hundred times and so the joke would not get out of hand I pulled up and as soon as he saw me he knew.........
I am sure something will be coming my way any day now...

Years ago I used to work construction. The boss's brother liked to hide my lunchbox. One day I had had enough. I gave his banana a "massage",effectively turning it into banana pudding in the peel. I then took the sharp cheddar cheese chunks from my own lunch and "accidentally" dropped it in the defroster vents of his work van. Then to top it all off, I shifted the transfer case of his personal truck into neutral, unbeknownst to him.
It took him almost 45 minutes of "troubleshooting" to figure out why his truck would run, but would not move.
And for weeks afterward I heard stories of the odor coming from the work van.
Never heard about the banana. :)

I think I first heard of this about 35 years ago.

For whatever reason, there are a few folks around here that hate, detest, and otherwise abhor any level of practical joke, even the most benign such as this one. So get ready to have this thread go in a direction that you did not foresee, and then have a mod close it. There's been more than one April Fools Day thread closed down because people got all bent out of shape.

My dad used to work at Hanford, Washington, which at its peak of operation had 9 breeder reactors running. The workers were, of course, monitored for exposure and were permitted only so many hours of exposure of certain levels a month. This often resulted in downtime, where workers would hang around in their shops doing recreational math tricks and playing practical jokes. One guy reportedly made really strong, vile coffee. One day, someone filled a coffee cup with mercury, then poured a think layer of coffee on top. When the subject of the joke walked in, one guy said, "Geez, Bob, your coffee is strong, I'll be it can float a washer." He dropped a washer on top of the concoction, which floated, indeed.

Practical jokes are really a lot of fun when it's the boss's son doing them and there ain't a damned thing you can do about it if you want to keep your job.

Yes there are plenty of ways to play jokes and stay under the radar but the only problem especially with the boss's son is that someone else might get the blame and lose their job.

At least 97% of the cases of Nepotism could have been prevented by employers diligently observing the rules for safe sex.

I had a 2003 Mustang GT, bright Red. That car was a magnet in parking lots. By the time I traded it off, it must of had a dozen dents on it. Only once did someone stick around and tell me they hit my car, and it was a little old lady in a wheel chair. She was embarrassed beyond belief but I didn't care because she did the right thing.

I learned with that baby that its not worth spending large amounts of money on cars. People can care less if they create a few hundred in damage and then walk away.
