My Squier Affinity Telecaster has an Indian Laurel fretboard, according to the Fender website. What would you folks suggest applying to the fretboard? Is there any house hold items I could apply for a quick fix and buy an actual product for the fretboard?

When you say "quick fix", what is it that you're trying to fix?
There are many threads on oiling fretboards. Plain mineral oil is the most common suggestion. The "lemon oil" that is sold for this purpose is just mineral oil with lemon scent. When I first started playing in the '60s nobody oiled their fretboards. You shouldn't need to to do it often and shouldn't need much.

A couple of drops of baby oil once a year is plenty.

I oiled my Indian Laurel board on my Bullet Tele using Dunlop oil. It darkened it up and looks real good.
