I have had a hard time sliding with powerchords. My fingers would get stuck to the strings.
I was in my kitchen earlier today, and spilled some rapeseed oil on my fretting hands.
Wiped my hands down, played the same chords and now it was MUCH easier. Fingers not sticking to the strings. It's a brand new set of Earnie Ball Super Slinkies.

Can you get strings that are equally easy to play, as my new and improved Earnie Ball Rapeseed Oil Strings?

I need to patent that ****

Well, they feel a little flatter. They don't have all that finger noise when doing finger slides or just moving up and down the neck, but they're not as bright sounding as the round wound strings. Some find them to be a bit dull sounding.
    They do cost more.

I oiled up my guitar, and now I can't catch it. It's currently hiding under a table, waiting for me to open the door so that it can make a break for sweet freedom.

I can't even wait for the oil to dry, because that will give it too much time to foment revolution among the other guitars. They may already be drawing up a manifesto and a list of demands.

Rub your fingers behind your ears to get some body oil on them. My old music teacher told me this is what violinists or other stringed instrumentalists would do.

You realize, now that you have developed super powers,
you won't have as much time to play guitar since you will be too busy saving the world.

Finger Ease is silicone and wrecks the strings.
Fast Fret ( mineral oil) is the product you want.

Too funny! A set of Elixir Polyweb strings and whatever goop an average American teenager (my son) seems to secrete all over whatever they touch tends to do the trick at my house...
