Finished my Esquire build !

    Actually finished it yesterday but had to go out due to prior engagement. Anyway, got some of my ersatz photo skills dusted off to take some pics today.

    tomorrow, I'll take it to my friend's guitar shop and run it through it paces via a marshall half stack and a '56 tweed deluxe. I think it is going to be fun.

    Very nice, I'm going to get an esquire together soon. Basically the same as yours (white on blonde) but with a rosewood board on it to mimic tom petty's.

    Actually, I wanted a rosewood fingerboard for my Esquire, too. I may end up putting the maple board back on my CV50 and restore it to stock, and put the rosewood neck on the Esquire body. I only had one pack of strings, otherwise I probably would have done it when during the build.

    Very cool. I like the way the colors play off each other. How'd you like it through the big amps?
