    Great sounding guitar but...dang!
I think the '71 LP Deluxe I used to own didn't weigh any more.

My Tele partscaster weighs about the same. It is the heaviest guitar I own. However, it sounds great, sustains for days, stays in tune, and has a super comfortable neck, so I end up playing it quite a bit. By the third set I may be tempted pick up my SG however (a hair over 6 pounds).

    It's my heaviest guitar, too.
Followed by a Jimmie Vaughan Strat.
My Lester is chambered (see what I did there? ;) and probably weighs 7#

My black Les Paul weighs 10 pounds and change.
I have to switch shoulders, like Albert Collins sometimes.
It sounds great, but it's stupid heavy
