My Tele will remain my number one. But I finally scratched an itch that has been itching a long, long time. 1998 Guild Starfire III, Carr Raleigh.

They are Seymour Duncans that Guild used at the time and that I understand are a very good likeness for the ones they used early on. To my ears they sound great, even if I’m still more used to hearing single coils.

Great choice. I do love Guilds. Going to look at an older hollowbody Guild next week. They're kind of a weakness of mine ...

Looks like an awesome combination. I bet you can automatically play rockabilly, even if you couldn't before.

I kept telling myself — still am — that once I got a hollow body, I would be done. My LAST guitar. No more GAS. We’ll see.....

You know, I never really tried, but it is in fact begging for it. May have to learn.

Looks great. I got a DeArmond Bluesbird recently with Gold Tone pickups, it sounds awesome. Hope you enjoy your Starfire III.

Been there, still doing that. You just opened up a new door, another guitar neighborhood in which to get totally immersed. Hollowbodies are endlessly fascinating.
