Oh, and I thought for a second we had a real problem here!

As far as nations and the feeling of belonging to them go, look at my five-year-old son before the French game. If you look closely you see mixed loyalties! :p

After all he grows up in France.

And this is his untiedied-up room as we speak (he is sleeping in the bed to the left).

    ;)

I had an Argentinian flat-mate for a long time and I do know quite a few Argentinians in Paris. They all seem to have come over after reading that Cortázar book.

Kind of like the American university exodus to the Czech Republic in the early 1990's after they found out beer was 5 Koruna a bottle (roughly .15 cents American) and rent was about $20 a month.:p

Well Julio Cortázar was a Banfield fan (a club from Banfield, Buenos Aires, Argentina). He's best remembered as a boxing fan (some of his writings relate to that). Also a jazz fan. We study him (and Borges) a lot in school here.

I had a french friend once in the University. The day he went back Igave him, a Mafalda comic strip book, something by El Negro Fontanarrosa, and a Cortazar short stories collection. Salut Yoann!
