Forgive me if this question has been asked:

What brand are the pots and switch on the new Player Series Tele's?

    Thanks, guys.

OMG. We were watching the national news station on TV and they were commenting about the snow still coming down in the Great Lakes region.

    We feel for you, brother!

So, the Player Series Tele's have copper-plated bridge plates?

    Thanks, Steve.

Have you personally heard this pickup set, Steve? I'm curious how they compare to the Tex-Mex set.

    No I haven't.

Just pure speculation but with the resistance at about 10 (good amount of wire), and A V mags ( I don't know the inductance) I'm thinkin' the may have wanted to approach the Texas Special category.
