Guitars trying to be other guitars...
I wouldn’t mind having a few of those.
IMO they're all pretty ugly except the Tele with the two humbuckers and small pickguard. Those are the only one's I'd want to own.
I dig the Tele bodied ones. The Strat shaped ones look like lower end guitars from the 1960s.
Looks like Taco Bell to me. Take the same old handful of ingredients, mix randomly, and with a little marketing maybe someone will buy it. They are out of ideas.
The Strat/Jag mashup is especially hideous.
I dig the Stratotele Paul. The offset is cool too. Won't be able to afford any sadly.
Well, that didn't take too much imagination.
Has anyone ever heard of the WFR wide range pickups they talk about in the ‘troublemaker’ Les/Tele description?
I dig this one.
Fender's done a ton of Gretsch inspired Teles, nothing new there...
The biggest stretch is the tune-o-matic on a Fender, but the Starcaster reissues (among others) already covered that.
Charlie Daniels sent us a warning about this!
....Well that is just friggin' fantastic....a total lack of imagination if you ask me...
Can I have a short guard Tele without a tune o matic please? Guess I have to learn how to make these things . . .
These just look sooooo terrible. I just don't understand why a company feels the need to waste money on R&D on this ****e!
If they are £1600 in the UK, what will they be in the US? That prices makes them out of reach for me.
Surf green Tele-Jazz is doing it for me.
Already building a Gretch/Fender Duo Jet-Tele.
This one screams: "Come at me, bro!"
