Yep, they aren't discontinuing the MI, just all the others. The MI V2 is staying according to my friend thats a fender dealer. All the other mustangs are being replaced with the new GT series.

According to a post on the fender forum, it looks like the 4-button pedal is the same as the regular Mustang (III or above), with different labeling, so the old one may work. No word on the EXP pedal.

According to that same forum, the amp will come with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality (so you should be able to download preset straight from the amp?)

True, they turned the ability to inflict pain without actually killing a person into a science. They have even inspired companies to make ice picky sterile amps with cold names that will efficiently kill your ears.

Horrible Amp at least. Very modern. GT is a classic brand, and it remember me cars, classic, mustangs, 70s. Thats a Fiat 500.

I'm gonna be pissed if the existing 4 button doesn't work either the GT and it will be another stroke about getting one. The labels woumdnt match but I can leave with that.

It won't stop me, but it will be a downer bringing the GT100 up to over $500 OTD. I also have the exp pedal so i have my fingers crossed on that one too, but i think that should stay the same. No reason to change it. Also consider selling your V2 with the old pedal will get you a bit more $ to help make up for it.

Yeah, i saw that and i still think theres a good chance it;s the same switch just relabeled. Why create a new FS circuit when all the have to do it take te old one and relabel it and assign each function to new things in the firmware. So hopefully only the labels need to be changed.

Tried out a GT 100 today and with 107 presets, better models, Bluetooth, a nice menu system, and adjustable bias and sag right on the amp, it's an incredible piece of gear.

Do you or did you have a V2 or V1 before, and if so how does the GT stack up as far as basic tone quality?
