Howdy, and welcome to the forum. You're new here, so I guess you didn't know- You can't post for sale/want to buy ads in the main forums. That stuff has to happen in the classified section. Just a heads-up.

As I said though, welcome to the forum, stick around, we've got a great community here.

    Welcome

I would say "cheap" would be if you could get a fairly decent one for $400-$450

Haha yeah, I want it to be the first guitar I get, cause I've never had one, but I've played a little.

Does it have to say FENDER on it?

You could also get a MIM strat then swap out the pickups for custom shops.

Both options will save you lots of the cost. You could use the extra to mod the strat even further or well.... Its your money (you decide)

Just trying to help ya out!

Where in Georgia? If you check my posts, you can see one I just finished. It's not for sale, but maybe I could build you one.

Yeah of course they will look the same, and the sound well unless your worried
about your strat sounding BETTER than a classic series; I would go for it.

You should see my strats, and wow I'm surprised how they turn out after my "experiments". In the end though they all sound better than any other strat I have ever tried.

    Heres a good base:

Theres also a squier classic vibe 50's and a fender standard but they are in lake placid blue which is (close) to daphne blue.

Anyways looks do count and I like your taste, sweet pick.

You should check out the Squier Deluxe Series. They have a Daphne blue one, that is as good or better than a MIM Standard Fender. One of my two strats is one of those. I'm very happy with it.

Daphne Blue is nothing like Lake Placid Blue. Daphne is a pastel baby blue while LPB is a metallic blue which is much darker than Daphne Blue.
