    New Forum. A good opportunity to post a pic or 3 of a recent new arrival. Only thing changed on this one are the strings. Frets are still pretty reasonable and it sounds and plays great. I still have another '54 (4292) that I bought in 1980 and it has done a lot more work than this one. [​IMG]

    You ever get down to Adelaide and you can pick 'em yourself, farthest North it has been is Tamworth for the festival...

    Hello Terry!

    I remember a few years ago when you were trying to acquire this guitar.

    Just curious what the neck date is on this one and does it have a body date in the pickup cavity?

    Did you got this one through Jay Rosen? Wait! the one you were looking for a few years ago was for a friend and it was to be a '55, now that I think about it. Maybe I'm confusing the two.

    Anyway, always nice to see a great example.

    Stunning! I owned a 54 Esquire for a while back in the late 70's, blackguard, but it had been refinished with refrigerator touch-up paint...
