I am really crazy about these kind of movies, documentaries, regular movies, bio movies.

Whats your favourite you have seen so far? I Am Also looking for more of these.

    1. Crossroads
    - Theres something magical about this movie, long journey across the states with guitar and stolen car? Kick ass ! :)

    2. Cadillac Records, this hits me hard, depressive, violent and shows how musicla bussines can break every single person.

    3. Whiplash - Psychological ,mind breaking. Destructive for dreamers. outstanding actor play

Crossroads because it has every forum bloozeman cliche in it right down to him buying the guitar because it was beat up years before relicing became popular.

Many of today's bloozemen loved that movie because of Vai until about 1992.

Eddie and The Cruisers - Even though the first one is awful the second one, Eddie Lives brings Rik Diesel into the fold, and is even worse (in a good way). Eddie behaves like an open mic blooze daddy trying to get Rik to toan down the hot licks.

The story of anvil. Anyone who plays in a band should be made to watch it.

Spinal Tap is the best because it goes to eleven. There's something about this that's so best, it's like how much more best could this be? And the answer is none. None more best.

    Crossroads is really great...
I like American Graffiti too, although it's not exactly a movie about music.
Going to the documentaries side, The Punk Rock Movie is a must see.

If you are in the music business, there is a movie called “Get Crazy” which is absolutely hilarious. They spoof blues, punk, chick bands and the stones as well as the drug dealer and fire marshall. Hard to find but well worth watching.

John Carney is a director who instincively knows what music is about. Maybe not rock or blues, but Once and Sing Street are great films about people making music.
