I play this Roland Microcube with a Tele or Strat probably four times a day. I've even sat in at a gig with it, though I don't recommend that, lol.

My busking rig (not that I've done any real busking yet) is pretty simple, and lots of fun. In that milk crate are my Fender Mini Passport modeling amp, a battery pack that goes a long time between charges, a cable, a tuner, and a busking set list. That in one hand and a gig bag in the other and I can go anywhere. I'm thinking about attaching a sling to my gig bag so I can carry a mike stand, too (the mike will fit in the crate.)

My AV62 Tele straight into my old Pro Junior, Pathfinder 15R or SFPR depending on my ears that day or where I’m playing.

04 MIK Lite Ash Tele with 4 way switch -> homemade dirtbox/fuzz thing -> Vox AC10C1. Two cables, a featherweight amp, tiny cheapo noise box and lots of volume knob fiddlin' is about all I need for a good jam sesh.

I Marie Kondo'd my pedal board last week after getting a Tech 21 flyrig- the RK5, specifically. It has great drive sounds, a boost w/ optional compressor, tap tempo delay, sansamp, tuner and reverb and it's small. I just have that and my wah plus one extra fuzz pedal on my pedalboard that I use for corporate gigs, weddings, etc. It's not a sacrifice of options in the slightest, just a lot easier to set up and get to playing. On Tuesday, I used it for a corporate gig 1500 people at the HouseOf Blues for the first time and it was just perfect. I had my Zinky 25 watt combo, my Tele and an SG.

I play any of my guitars into a Mesa Boogie Express 5:25. With 5 or 25 watts and four channels there’s no need for pedals for gain. I use a Keeley 4 knob compressor when the need arises, often with my Strat, sometimes with my Gretsch, almost never with my Telecaster, and never with my SG. My SG and Gretsch get the most use these days. I need to try heavy bottom strings with my Fenders to balance the too strident B and G strings.

MiM Std Tele into the Wem Westminster Mk IX 10 watt I bought new in about 1975 and which has been my constant chum ever since. Recently added a TC Electronics Skysurfer reverb pedal and I sometimes use it.

I've had other stuff, but this'll do for me now.

Any of my Strats, Squier Jag, or Tele and either of these, with
    or without an overdrive pedal.

One of my simple rig iterations.

The guitar can be replaced by a LP, SG, Vigier Expert or an MIJ Aria Pro II.

The amp by an Orange AD5, AD15, R30 or RV50.

I don't always keep it simple though. I like my pedal board very much.

My last rehearsal I used the tele, wah, dd3, VHT special 6/112 vintage 30. All the bases covered no problem. I've been using the amp foot switch more for dirt instead of a pedal and while I usually have to roll off the volume more to control the drive I'm finding it easier to find my sweet spot in the mix using the guitar knobs.
