I picked up the watch habit a long time ago when I was concerned about things like navigation, then later (in the days before smart phones) I was always having to work within schedules and I hate being late, so today its mostly a habit but I always have a watch on my wrist.

FWIW Citizen makes some of the most accurate consumer clocks on the planet, I'm running a fairly plain-jane military style ecodrive that cost a little over a hundred bucks, it never needs a bat and it way outperforms my Speedmaster or GMT.

I'm a lefty who plays right handed. Years ago I'd wear a watch (on my right hand), but my Stratocaster pickups would pickup the ticking. So, that was the end of that.

I've worn a watch since junior high school. (That's a long time as I'm in my 50s now.) If there's no watch on my left wrist I feel not just naked but a little disoriented and a tad unbalanced.

(Although plenty of people would say that I'm unbalanced whether I'm wearing a watch or not.)

1955 Omega Seamaster Gold Cap. Belonged to my father. I wear it every day. It is the only thing I have that reminds me of my dad.

I don't wear any jewelry at all.
I used to wear a watch sometimes, Vintage Bulova, but not while I was playing.

That's beautiful! The only reason I bought my omega was because my dad has worn one every day since before I was born. Otherwise, I don't think I'd ever even consider a watch like that, since I'm generally very practical and very cheap!

To me it always looked like the player has somewhere else to be and pretty unprofessional.
Personally i wear a watch every day. Wouldn't be caught without one.

I've never been able to wear any jewelry. Watch, ring, necklace, anything that just hangs on me drives me nuts

I wear a watch sometimes - mostly when I have an appointment.

What for? Phones nowadays has everything you need... even a tuner.

Haven't worn one in about 20 years or so.

Back when my eyes were clear and my hands were steady I repaired watches as a hobby.
The Omega Seamaster and Constellation were my specialty. I certainly didn't start out on those, but because the were my personal favorites I did become very proficient.
I still have a box full of Omega's that I collected or for many reasons acquired them.
But like most things I loved to do, my health has robbed me of my abilities to do them.
I consider Omega to be one of the greatest timepiece's ever made.

I always wore one when I was working, but lately find that some days go by and I haven't put one on. I have the Accutron I got for HS graduation that, amazingly, still runs. The jeweler told me if it ever stopped it would not likely be fixable so I try to keep an eye on it and put a battery in when I see that it's stopped. (Hope someone does that for me someday ;))

I also have my dad's watch - one I would never, ever think about buying myself, but he liked to live large, and was of that generation when he had a regular pension, a military one, and SS, so had a cash flow I can only dream about. (That all evaporated the same time he did, but he sure made the most of it! And there's this watch.)

I use my watch so i can check the time without being rude and looking at the phone. Nothing like having a conversation with someone and them showing me exactly how bored they are by peeking at the phone for the time.

Doesnt come off when i play. Its like my wedding ring i notice when its not on immediately.

Well, I'll be... I've never seen another like it. Most of that model that I've seen have a darker gold face. Mine and yours are the only ones I've seen with the lighter coloured face.

I always wear my Seiko perpetual that I had to wear when I worked for the railroad. I usually have a couple of rings on, too. If I am wearing long sleeves, they are rolled up about half way.
