It was posted 4/1/2018 (which in the way that dates are shown in the US is April Fool day).

Had me worried for a moment. Who wants ANYTHING to sound like bagpipes?:lol:

    Ah too late..
Actually I wish it were real
I occasionally gig w/ a trombone player that HATES the pipes to the point that putting him in situations w/ them has become a running gag, this would be perfect.

:D:D:D I love trombone, knowing the electro harmonix it wouldn't be so strange if they will make it one pedal like that for real.

Gotta admit, I knew it was an April Fool's joke yet... there's a part of me that would give it a whirl, laddie. Aye, I would. ;)

    I would love this pedal.
Only pedal I would like more would be a Melodica/Harmonica pedal.
    Not kidding.

I lived in Scotland for 5 years and I've been to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo a few time. Played well, the massed ranks of the pipes and drums can be an impressive noise but, as a solo instrument and played badly, there's little to match the screeching-wailing racket the pipes can produce.

I would love a Melodica/Harmonica man, years ago i had the roland gr 33 guitar synth, there was the armonica sound in it, it sounded very bad, so fake.:cry::cry::cry:

You know where this i going to end up? EHX will get wind of this discussion and think, Hey, these guys really want a bagpipe pedal!

Quick bagpipe story: I used to live a couple doors down from our city's fire chief, who believed he could play the bagpipes, and he would practice, every Sunday morning, out on his porch. I can't tell you how painful it was, especially on Sunday mornings after a late Saturday gig...On the positive side, he never complained about my loud guitar playing. Or maybe those Sunday mornings were payback...

I actually don't mind bagpipes, being generally into Celtic music and I have seen some extraordinary players. There was a guy in the neighborhood who would fire his up occasionally and yes, it would set all the dogs a howling. After ten minutes or so he'd give up.

How else are you going to play AC/DC's "It's a Long Way to the Top If You wanna Rock n Roll"?

Get a pretty good bagpipe sound from EHX Synth 9. Good for Long way to the top and beginning of Copperhead Road

Would be fantastic if it had Bagpipes, Banjo and Accordian on a three way switch ! I think my AC/DC covers would improve drastically:)
