I’m a lefty and have been reading all the good reports on the CV 50’s BSB Telecaster and then I noticed that the pickups are different between the Right Hand and Left Hand models?

Specifically the fender website lists the pickups on the left-hand version as “SQUIER STANDARD SINGLE-COIL PICKUPS” whereas the right-hand version is “ALNICO V SINGLE-COIL PICKUPS”.

    Left-Hand model: https://shop.fender.com/en-US/squi...be-telecaster-50s-left-handed/0303029550.html

    Right-Hand model: https://shop.fender.com/en-US/squi...r/classic-vibe-telecaster-50s/0303027550.html

Can anyone shed any light on this? Are the left-hand models sold with inferior pickups?

I don't think they labelled the first one correctly, I have a CV50 and I was always under the impression the pups were the Alnico Vs ..
