    Pete Vallee:

He mostly confines his performance to sitting in a chair and rocking out his eyebrows now since he has managed to stay alive while mimicking Elvis's eating habits for years.

You know I like joking around about Elvis impersonators, but to tell the truth I wouldn't pay a dollar to see 'em all lined up in a review, dancing in chaps with their bums hanging out. Imitation to me is not the sincerest form of flattery when it comes to the King, it's just a bunch of talentless bums who are riding on the coattails of someone who really was great.

My wife was watching house hunters one night on the H&G channel, and some bum was on there who claimed to be an Elvis impersonator. He was pitiful in every respect. You would have to shut both eyes, and stick a watermelon in both ears to believe he was Elvis. I just don't get it.

That's really no different from any impersonator, cover band, or tribute band. Why anyone pays any money to see any of that is beyond me.

I really didn't go that far into it, but no, I don't go see tribute bands, or any other kind of impersonator. I would however pay two dollars to see live and on stage a reenactment of Kim herself braking the internet.

I certainly noticed a lotta folks have been missing for a while, but I find I mix up the younger members and can't always tell them apart.
Plenty of older members have gone missing lately too.
    And some returned.
    Or not.
    RIP...

Since this isn't my lawn, welcome back!

Last time I was in Vegas, I bumped into Elvis in an elevator.

    Elvis lives.

I’m suspicious of this whole thread.

I was at that Elvis show just last week, and I didn’t see you there.

Also, Leo told me that he thought you were OK, but you kept pushing the tempo at the turnaround!

Well, even with tired eyes you know how to spot a situation. What we have here is a delayed twin. His twin is being formed right there in front beneath his pants. Any day now, they're gonna do a c section and get the boy out where the world can see him!

I've known some big folks in life. In one view I appreciate the ones who don't let other's opinions and prejudice drag them down and they are happy folks...but at some point, it's just very difficult for me to join in any joy when I see someone so horrifically, morbidly obese as this fellow.

I guess it's my own prejudice is showing...but jeepers.

If one were to go further along this line of questioning it would seem that the question would have to asked. What kind of audience finds entertainment value from watching a guy who is too fat to stand up, doing Elvis from a chair? Next thing you know some old crone will be doing Madonna... Uh, maybe be better to leave that go right there.
