Design Idea: chop Dean Split V headstock to a 4+2 headstock cut down. Love V necks, hate V headstock

    That is going to ruin the resale value of the Dean

    I like the suggestions to add wood and make whatever. That looks like a nice job.
    I also like the suggestion to round the pointy end to emulate the lower horn on the guitar treble side.
    I will mock up that next.

    I do know it won't do anything good for re-sale value. But... Kind of thinking no V shaped headstock or no Dean for me... and if I buy one... well... it's kind of my guitar so maybe I shouldn't worry too much about that and just do what I want.
    I had thought of that, it certainly gives me pause, but I think I would go for it.

    The downward 3+3 looks proportional on the guitar.

    Mock up the shrimp fork design as that might be the one to go with. 'Harkens back to the first models'.
