I spread my weakness on the cloth-eyed beginnings and felt the rusted bricks hit me to make my knuckles crimp laughter.

Releasing and falling I drew in their foul breath, my flashlight-eyes for desperation.

In defeat the streaks brushed wires down my back, murdered desires in heavy red buckets beneath me.

I went up again and I will always go up again and I will take the bricks and wires again to be myself.

Those brushed wires down your back were her fingernails.
And it wasn't so bad, with her heavy red buckets beneath you.

Courage is not the absence of fear but action in its presence.

He suffered the bricks and wires for ALL of us...so we could all be ourselves, so that our desires would live...and never lie murdered, in red buckets! Praise 1955...he has gone up again!

I enjoyed that. Interesting lyricist, and a tough blow to music when he left us. I was lucky I got to see them about 20 years ago.

Wow! Not my typical style of music to listen to, but she is laying down some heavy stuff, very cool!

The first rule of poetry club ?

    It doesn’t have to rhyme.

The second rule of poetry club ?

But, it’s nice from time to time...

Try cutting the strings about 1 1/2 inches past the tuner and then winding down the post.
