    Hi Twangies.

I recently heard David Ball's song called Hot Water Pipe. I Instantly loved Troy Cook Jr. and his way of playing a Honking Tonking Tele.

So I made an arrangement over the structure of that song and then asked Laura (IOWA91 on youtube) to play along. Lasse, my friend in Aarhus joined too with some delicious dobro.

As usual you can download the backing-track (and Laura's extro as ringtone:D) here: http://www.box.net/shared/h9upvbn8gn

    Enjoy

Everybody did great. this is already a pretty popular video in a very short amount of time! Laura is really getting the Country thing down and this was Lasse's best performance yet - his playing was perfect.
You had the best tone, Lars but then you are obsessive about that! Great vid!

That was excellent! And a very cool idea, doing the video splice with the different players doing their parts - dug it. It was fun to see different takes and ideas over your arrangement..well done!

I've been obsessed with that song for a while now... I even wake up with the melody in my head. It's the perfect Tele twangy tone as far as I'm concerned.
Very well done ! Great job...:D I loved it ! And Laura is, well...
And thanks for the link... ;)

@WaylonFan76: Thanks - It's just how I feel it here too. Isn't Troy's sound and way to squezze a tele awesome?....i'm a sucker for the thick string on a guitar and if they can sound buckaroo'ish then i'm in heaven :) just my 2cents from one addict to another :)

And Laura....yes...I instantly knew when she sent me the extro part with the wink that the guys would jump off their keyboard and hit the ceiling. Content and envelope must both be addressed...cheers

Great song and great playing. I've spent the last couple of nights trying to figure out the 1st guitar part, and tabbing it out. I hope you guys dont mind if I post my tab. This is my interpretation from watching the video and playing it back.
