I was thinking chaps. The inappropriate cowboy kind. Removing that pickguard would make for a spectacular guitar.

The flame neck should be the same gloss level as the body, either gloss the neck up or satinize the body, they just need to match.

I'm curious about that neck pickup and the wiring/switching scheme. Details details. Please!

Can’t understand why so many people here hate the guard.

I think it’s fantastic, the way it frames the bridge and Bigsby.

Good luck finding a replacement in the future, though.

You’re right! I now see the reflections in the first photo too!

I was using my phone before, but now I see it on my pad.

Looks kind of retro. I like it. I'd play it.

Hmmm, I don't know. I mean it's a pretty cool looking guitar and I like the color combination. But I just love the classic Tele looks. And this is just really, really different....

Not my cup o’meat in the looks department, but I’d like to hear that foil pickup. Do you know at which booth he’s displaying?

Maybe, but I really doubt it is.

    Bravo Dennis!

I'm awfully hard to please when it comes to "New Tele Permutations" but this finished work just pulls me in like little else has lately. I'm scared of bad Bigsby intallations but get out of my way and let me try this one!! :^)

Call me a sap, but at least when you lay your credit card down on it, when people see it later they will go "Oh, those are expensive aren't they?" So many ultra expensive guitars look almost exactly like ones selling for $ 600 and I'm not going to pay big dollars for those. If nothing else I can make those myself from available parts (and patience and a good work station).

This guitar is enough of a one of a kind, that your money buys something you may not be able to get any other way. The danger would be, what if it caught on and somehow became a much less expensive production model? Somehow I think its Exclusivity would survive.

I don't care if 95% of you guys THINK you don't like this now. In 4 years your opinions will be different.

I like it but it seems to be missing its resonator!

Hmmmm.…...That's just way too much pickguard if you ask me; it's covering up what looks like a very nice wood grain.
