    Good call using the vintage 1970s FP xylo. The new MIC xylos just don't have tone. Sounds like your build will be fun to watch.

    When making guitars, I often want to hit myself with a mallet.

    As luck would have it, I sometimes accidentally do.

    Some zebra, ash, hard and spalted maple, black walnut and a one piece spruce top I may or may not use... still planning!

    I've never built a neck-through body guitar or done a scarf joint head stock so if I'm not very careful this could be a disaster

    sooooo, on with the challenge :twisted:
