I usually have the TV in the shop on while working and tend to gravitate to a few DVDs because I don't really have to watch them to know what's going on (although I'll often stop to watch certain parts).
    Anyone else do this?

    Mountain Men
    Renaissance Man
    Cowboy Way
    Red

I have a sh! t-ton of rockumentaries about bands and certain albums but i don't often put them in because they cause me to stop what I'm doing and watch.

Something about cheesy disaster movies. Don't have'em on DVD, but I DVR them every once in a while and watch'em again and again.

    RIP Dusty

    True.
Day after tomorrow, is not my fave, but I have worn out Armageddon and know all the lines from Independence Day. I'm from the 'Rooms with TV's are the best rooms" generation.

Well done. Two more favorites. Especially Riddick. "You keep what you kill".

    comfort movies?
    Is that like 'comfort' food?
    What is 'uncomfortable' movies?
How about some uncomfortable food to go with it?
Sometimes the simple things baffle me.

When Robert Duvall shoots the Indian with the long range rifle...classic. My old man is a western fanatic so all those movies are in the background of my life.

The Princess Bride. It came out when I was a senior in high school and whenever my friends and I would get home from college we'd get together at someone's house, put the movie in, and just sit around and talk all night long. I can still quote most of that movie from memory.

Jaws. I could watch it every day and never tire of it. Something about being out on the Vineyard, Oaks Bluff, all of that. Just love the scenery. And Bruce of course.
