    Looks like they dyed the wood black and filled the grain with normal white filler. Weird.

    Reminds me of the cool 60's Epiphone with the "silver fox" finish (grain filler over the color coat)

    Interesting. It kinda looks like a fuzzy channel on TV, I think I would keep trying to wipe it off.
