If you have a 50's Classic Vibe Tele post your serial number here.
Mine is CGS080100513
Even if you dont wanna post your serial # add to this thread if you have one Id like to see how many members have them so far and in the future.
Mark....my guess is you got the 513th CV made. Or, the 100,513th, but I doubt they'd have shipped that many in the first few weeks. What do you think?
Don't have one of those but I saw this today at my local music store for $279.
im saving for my cvtele now. is it true that the pine body dents and dings really easy?
kp8 : CGS 080100711
The finish seems fairly thick and The pine seems pretty solid. At least my Tele seems as hard as ash.
It weighs 8.25.pounds with serial number CGS 080100655
What is the 08 = 2008
What is the 100 = place holder for 100 thousand nine hundred ninety nine
I wonder who got # 1000?
Id say I have the 513th one made.
Let's keep copying and pasting this as the thread develops so it makes more sense.....OK?
Just copy and paste and insert your serial number in numeric order
Hey, Mark, we're neighbors!
Went back and fixed it, didn't see the "numerical order" part...
You guys are a bad influence.......
I've been lurking here for a while (ever since borrowing a friends MIM standard earlier this spring)
After reading all the hype on the CV I ordered one and also a Superchamp XD
As good as this guitar sounded in the several threads, I figured maybe I would find something I didn't like about it but it's pretty impressive
:?: :?: :?: One thing though. The grain on the neck is awesome! Is this for real or is it a foto flame job?????
This is my first solid body and it joins my meager "collection" of a 1967 Hagstrom Viking deluxe and a 10th Anniversary (1976) Ovation.
This a great forum and I've really been enjoying the tele building threads!!!
Dave, it must be real, mine doesn't have much grain.
Dave, you're out-of-order. Get with the program, soldier!
Thats awesome we are brothers in arms! hahahah
I have an amp on Fleabay and the auction ends Sunday evening. The second the money hits my Paypal account I'm ordering one!
Spunky had a good idea on formatting the list. Let's keep using it so we can keep track of how many victims have been claimed and if there are any other neighbors. Here's the list so far:
You could easily keep count using a poll function. Is that something you can add now?
I don't have a CV Tele.
I have plenty of other Teles already, including more than one Squier Standard Tele.
But maybe I'll put one of these on my Christmas wish list.
