Either looks good, but if you hold a gun to my head and make me choose, I'd say white.

I don’t like bright white and I’m not big on black. Aged white with burst and Rosewood.

IMHO, a white 'guard is traditional on a 3TSB or 2TBB body, while a black 'guard is traditional on a blonde body.
