Cheap small tube amp, Fender Pro Jr. or Vox AC10 ?

    Yes, when you turn the Katana up, it really shines, I like mine, and when it is recorded well it really shows how it can sound good.

    Keep an eye out for a Peavey Classic 20, they can be had for about $400 on ebay I think. Mine is awesome!

    For a small tube amp the Vox AC10. Vox has beautiful clean and crunch tones.
    I really think for home and occasional jams your Katana will work fine.
