I'm putting together a "mini" pedal board for portability and to play acoustic (Taylor 314ce) and I'm thinking about going cheap.

So, I'm thinking about some of the Chinese mini pedals and wondering if anyone has experience with any of the brands I've never heard of like Amroon, etc., though I consider other suggestions (chorus?).

Probably going to have a tuner, delay, looper (for practicing my leads), boost and overdrive. I've got an LPB-1 and a Boss TU-2 so I'm thinking of a cheap delay and a cheap looper.

I play through a Fender Princeton so I've reverb and tremolo in the amp and I play mostly Grateful Dead so I don't need to get fuzzy.

    Ideas?

My Mooer Black Secret is solid. I also have a Donner Stylish Fuzz. It seems okay, but I'm not really a fuzz guy, so it doesn't get much use. I didn't pay more than $30 for either--the Mooer was used.

I have an Amoon eq pedal, and it's cheap, small, sturdy and beautiful! It's a blue one, 7 band I think.

I use a Rogue Analog Delay for slapback echo and I love the sound of the pedal. I think it was $29 US.

I have two Donners, they're good.

I have one Biyang and the switch is lousy.

They're not the least expensive out there, but the Mooer mini pedals are really nice. They have a couple that are strictly geared towards acoustic guitars too!

I have a Rogue delay too and I dig it.

Caline also makes some cheap pedals.

The new TC line of inexpensive pedals are getting good reviews. Not minis however. Saw them on sale I think at MF yesterday.

I started out going cheap. Bought a bunch of bargains all at once. Big mistake. Got what I paid for.

Sold 'em all off - maybe six or eight pedals - and started over, buying pedals one at a time that were actually useful.

You don't need a lot. You just need good!

Love my Donner Boost Killer and my EC(?) Myomorphia or somesuch (rat), both were ultra cheap, and my Tomsline "Dumbler" (20 bucks) has saved me about a hundred thousand dollars :).

I prefer my circuit boards printed in Japan, Korea and Indonesia and my pedal cases painted by hand in Portland. Better tone.
