Do you mean Fishbone the band? If so, I am a fan and have been since the 80's. Own all their CD's and saw them live many times. I can not think of a single reference to snowflake in their output.

i separated all personal from band, 2 accts are maxed. I like the old way when it was not so intermingled anyways...but the world is jealous, childish & hateful in general...focus on your family.work & band & give em all the 1 finger salute. Unfortunately it has become the modern platform to announce shows & communicate with fans, FB also really screws with your website being posted..few years ago it would reach everybody..now a mysterious $5 will reach more fans,,,i salute them, will never pay

I don’t know man. Having that much trouble in any social environment is usually an indicator that the environment isn’t the problem.

I'm amused by the people that will join a specific group, clearly titled as to what is the basis of said group, then they get offended because they bring up something unrelated to the group topic and someone makes a remark. I think a lot of people would have less chance of getting their feelings hurt, by sticking to the FB groups topic. If you cant find a group, then make one..... not that difficult. TDPRI, has it all, oh and I mean it all..... imma stop right there.

Doesn't "Bad Dog Cafe" use up enough chat time about guitars in your life?

Haha, yes, meant the band. Only saw them once live (1985?), but was sure they were going to be the next big-big thing. And then... they weren't.

OP - when it looks like the game is rigged, it's time to leave the table.
If the FB clubs aren't fun - pull out.
    Peace - Deeve

And... I stand corrected. I always thought of "snowflake" from the Fight Club definition, but it has changed (according to Urban Dictionary) to now mean anyone who complains about anything. So it is now pretty meaningless (although pretty much accepted to mean the complainer is also being accused of being left of center politically).

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Snowflake

The alternative to FB groups is discussion boards, like TDPRI. At a place like TDPRI the membership starts over a shared interest in something (Telecasters) and then members become a community and something like friendships form based on that shared interest. Then members want to discuss other things with their "friends." At TDPRI, there are about 20 sub-forums where other stuff can be discussed by the same community members. Judging from the fact that most new threads are in the "Bad Dog Cafe" sub-forum, I think says something about how the Telecaster interest is only a way of identifying like-minded people. FB groups don't have that. You have a new interest, you need a new group, with different people. The capacity for a community to develop is much more limited.

OP - it's called 'The Internet', fella. Welcome to it. It's full of armchair know-alls and keyboard warriors who will find fault in your very DNA, without even getting the chance to analyse it!

TV shows clubs a few. Christan clubs a few. My church has 2 pages. Tommy Bates preacher has 1. Food clubs a few. Guitar clubs. I won't say. But why so many? Because of the myth 1 club 1 brand 1 guitar model. Jackson club, Samick club, etc.. you get the idea. I obey the rules too. But some are just plain silly.
