I vote for the top right one without the oval-ish border.
The oval is for use on my valco build , i tried to make some water slides but the paper did not cooperate .
I made a test , i think i will have to upgrade from the sharpie to some paint .
Second try , its s little bit better .
I am not sure it i will put my logo on top or not , as for my yt ch logo i plan on installing it on something and taking a picture of it ...
I made a bunch of logos , and shot some clear on it it helped keeping everything together .
I first tried something simpler but the contrast from the black letters and brown neck is not really working, so i tried a red one , its not the most accurate , its really not perfect but i like it ..
This is the idea i had for a profile picture for my ch , but in my mind the logo was perfect this one is not i bet i could fix that easily with a photo editor ...
I spent some time working on this picture to fix the letters , i used inkscape . I first tried to align the complete logo and could not fit properly . This morning i decided to ungroup the logo and do each part separately , it took 5 minutes !
Now it looks better .
I also borrowed a quality camera , and manage to get color correct pictures of the supro .
I think i will keep her without pickguard .
I love the clean, organic look of that guitar.
I am not really a natural wood guy , but the almost orange wood makes the maple neck pop .
It grows on me .
Its still looks a little naked to me without pickguard .
My 2 cents.... I'd go with a pickguard .
I know , i am trying to convince my self and take the lazy way out .
But now i need to decide what shape ...
I used to be obsessed by guitar acquisition , not anymore ! i am not sure i am better off .
The first neck i made was amazing , the second not bad , since then its back to amazing the next one will be number 15 !
I completed the vintage type shaping of the head stock , now its time for some fret work .
All done !
After seeing how dirty the tape is i don't regret using it.
some more today!
I tried to make a 12 inch radius with a sanding block but since the fretboard is already cut to size it took far less time to do the head side then the heel it left me with a drop starting at the 5th fret .
So i made my self a new radius jig... the original one got lost ...
I fixed the neck , and completed the radius on the other ones .
