    Good day!

I am soliciting opinions on humbuckers for the bridge position on my old partscaster. I am considering swapping out the current HB (it's one of those that looks like two Strat sc's wound together).

Your comments and thoughts based on experience would be most appreciated.

I favor the P-rail for its versatility. Humbucker, p-90, and strat coil

I don't know the maker, as I did not build the guitar. They might be old DiMarzio's. They appear to be original to the guitar, which I bought 2nd hand, making them at leaast 30+ yrs old.

(As a quick FYI, the neck pup is a Schecter single coil that has a really sweet tone, also original to the guitar)

The HB sounds fairly good, but a little dark for me. I may be looking for something with as little more high end bite without losing the low end.

Still not sure if I will switch them out, but I wanted to explore options.

I just put a lollar imperial low wind in my tele, and it sounds great. The bridge is a voodoo te50, and there is little volume difference.
