I think the bunnies are balancing on their front legs on a pelvis bone.

Brainy I hope you bought this enchanted wood. Ole Scratch demands that you build a guitar in homage to him.

    Thank you,

I've not been anywhere bad or naughty or illegal.

Thanks. Well, I just have to learn how to play the ukulele, work out how to film myself with an iPhone when I don't have any sort of stand or whatnot for it, get over my chronic self-consciousness for being photographed or filmed, and then it will be done. So, ummm, never?

(Probably this weekend; it's a Bank Holiday weekend, and Mr Shock is not back in work till next week, so I can keep hold of this till then)

Thanks Matt. Credit where credit is due, the fret dots are made using the Roger/Mojotron idea/method. I like it. The tenor Firebird I'm doing will (probably) have similar fret markers, but using copper tube rather than aluminium. (Until I find out the good reason(s) not to do that)

If only you could get copper hardware... of which I'm sure there is another flagrantly obvious reason against

I will be making copper hardware. I'll make nobs the same as these brass ones. But intend to make a bridge out of wood and copper. Again, until that turns out to be a bad idea....

Copper's pretty soft for a bridge, innit?

I like. I'll be keeping my eye out for this. Here's a crap idea, why don't you use stacked 1ps for your knobs... it would cost you about 10p per knob

Well done, sir Bwainy. The dots do have an especially elegant air about them, and the whole instrument has a nice proportion about it.

What, exactly is a "bank holiday"? You seem to have quite a few of them. We over here have "banker's hours", meaning one who is lucky enough to have a short work day,( I mean, some few lucky ones, mostly bankers, not all of us over here have them. . .) but apparently bankers in the UK have perfected the technique into entire days, or blocks of days. . .?

Another vote here for video/audio clip. At your leisure, of course. This must be traumatic, finishing and all, I mean. . . :D

    Nice work! Looks great.

I would like to hear it. More out of curiosity. Maybe Mr. Shock could hook us up with a demo?
