This guitar showed up and my friend's store. It's looking for a new home. I can't give it one but we spent the afternoon together and a Nocaster showed up also but its staying where its at.

I took pixs I thought I would share them with everyone here since I know a few people like teles here.

Uh oh. You might not have the dough but you know there's a cash advance store up the street from me. If maybe five or so of us dudes chipped in maybe we could do a time share?

Just to be clear, the '52 is on the left - correct?

No Lavonne Music in Savage Minnesota. They've been in business for 40 years and were selling these things since they were just a "used guitar". :)

Always nice to see another Nocaster being used.
Do those beauties have the original hardware?

How does the bridge pickup sound compared to today's OVs or Nocasters?

It was slightly warmer. In another thread about 4 months ago I played a late 52 Enquire and it was much brighter than this 52 tele. which I thought interesting.

I have a tele I built 4 years ago that has SD Broadcaster pup with Rutters brass saddles and it almost sounds identical to this tele. The difference was more of the sweep of the tone pot between those two guitars but wide open they sounded the same.

So given that one could say the difference between this actual 52 and an OVs or Nocaster would be no greater than between two different OV or Nocasters.

More cosmetic differences between these Telecaster (left) and (Right) Nocaster.
