In your opinion, which is better: Big Muff Pi or the Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker, and why do ypu prefer one over the other. Which one is good for the most stuff?

Actually I just tested these two out together last week. I wound up going with the tone wicker version. Supposedly with the tone switch on and the wicker switch off it's supposed to be the exact same circuit as the regular one, and it was close enough, but I could hear a slight difference between the two. I like the versatility of the TW, simply because it can pull of the original sound and do a bit more.

I had the opportunity to choose between a little big muff, a top boost metal muff, and a big muff pi tone wicker. The metal muff was out right off the bat. I don't need a distortion/fuzz, and that pedal is crazy. The little big muff was fine, but after trying to tone wicker muff, the little muff seemed boring. I bought the tone wicker muff and never looked back.

Check out the swollen pickle which is around the same price range as the tonewicker

(I'd get the tone wicker muff)
