This is an interesting thread. I will be needing a Tele neck pickup soon. I seem to have narrowed it down to the O. C. Duff Slab'sters (I don't know what the apostrophe replaces) and the Mojotone "Classic" Tele® Pickup. Both are Alnico 5, and I've had good luck with A5 neck pickups.
If any of y'all know either of these pickups, please comment.
    Thank you.

Since you're asking for noiseless, I recommend the Joe Barden neck tele pickup. spectacular in every way.

The fender pure vintage 64 has become my favourite. Twisted tele second.

Personally...it's not stratty, but I love the Cavalier Lion King for a traditional tele neck. Porter 9t is a close second if you want more of a mini P90 sound...but cost twice what the Cavaliers do. I got mine second - hand on the ebay.

Just installed an Artec Milestone and it's very impressive.

If you're going for SRV or Mayer tones, those guys didn't get their signature sounds from a Telecaster. Their tones were very different from each other, though. Sticking with Fender pickups, the Twisted Tele neck pickup gets you into that territory and tonewise sits between Strat and Tele tone. Otherwise, consider using a Strat pickup at the neck. Likely you can find a Mayer Big Dipper pickup used from Stratosphere or elsewhere, or go with a Texas Special for SRV tone.

I like the Mare ‘54 neck, not sure it would be loud enough for the Little ‘59 bridge though
